Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Missing alt text

Some images, including images that are links, don’t have alt text. This means that users accessing the website on assistive technology may not know what these images/links are supposed to be.

Our development team are working on fixing these, and will advise content editors to ensure all images have alt text.

Missing form labels

Some form fields don’t have labels, meaning users accessing the website on assistive technology may not be informed as to what information to add to each field.

Our development team are investigating adding labels to all form fields.

Skipped headings

There are some instances on the website where a heading level is skipped. For instance, an ‘H3’ has been used without an ‘H2’ preceding it.

We are advising content editors on ensuring heading levels are used hierarchically.

Links with descriptive link text

Some links on the website don’t have fully descriptive link text to ensure they make sense out of context. For instance, the link may just be the word ‘here’. This means that some users may find it difficult to understand where a link will direct them.

We are advising content editors on ensuring all links are descriptive.
